- The Basic Salary of each teacher employed under contract on a part‑time basis shall be pro rata of the applicable annual schedule rate and shall be governed by the same provisions as the salary of any other teacher covered by this Agreement inclusive of vacation pay.
- Pro Rata of Allowance
Where an employee is not assigned to a position on a full-time basis, then the allowance or applicable rate of pay for that position will be prorated for the amount of time the employee is assigned, on a daily basis, to that position.
- Part time teachers who participate in professional development activities, school opening administration day, and parent-teacher interviews during the instructional school day when requested by the Principal and approved by the Superintendent shall receive per diem or portion thereof for time spent over and above their regularly scheduled teaching time during the instructional school day. Time in lieu of compensation may be given if mutually agreed upon between the teacher and the Principal.
