A part time teacher is defined as a teacher who is employed on a regular part-time basis in one position.
Whenever a part-time teacher's accumulated service equals the equivalent of one full year or more, that teacher shall moveto the next higher step of the schedule on September l or January l next, whichever comes first.
Payment shall be on a pro-rata basis.
Part-time teachers shall participate in school activities during the regular school day when requested by the employer. Part-time teachers shall receive the per diem or portion thereof for time spent over and above their regularly scheduled teaching time during the school day.
