- Teachers on staff and teachers coming on staff shall receive full placement for teaching experience obtained after certification as recognized by the Department up to the maximum of their class.
- Placement of School Clinicians. On initial engagement, a teacher employed as a school clinician holding a provisional or permanent school clinician’s certificate who does not have recognized teaching experience as may be allowed under Article 3.04 of the Collective Agreement, shall be credited to a maximum of three (3) increments, with one increment for each two (2) years of directly related work experience. This experience must not be work experience which has been utilized as experience required toward the attainment of the teacher’s degree.
It shall be the responsibility of the teacher to supply reasonable proof satisfactory to the Division of his/her previous related experience prior to the commencement of employment.
Teachers currently employed by the Division as clinicians shall be credited with experience as set out above.
