Except in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, every teacher shall be entitled to an uninterrupted meal period between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each school day.
This lunch period shall be equal to five minutes less than the midday intermission given to the students of the school in which the teacher is employed to a maximum of fifty-five (55) minutes.
Designated staff will be on call during this meal period to deal with emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
