2.03 Advancement on the Salary Schedule
Teachers shall advance one step on the salary schedule on September 1, January 1, or May 1, whichever comes first following the anniversary date of employment.
The service of a part time teacher shall be accumulated in the proportion of actual percentage of time employed in each school year. Whenever a part time teacher’s accumulated service equals the equivalent of one full time year or more, that teacher shall, at the beginning of the month following, be reclassified to the next higher step of the schedule, in accordance with Article 3.01 (Salary Schedule) of the agreement.
