Upon appointment to ongoing continuous service beginning the 1997-98 school year, teachers with two (2) years of continuous service under a Limited Teacher-Generalcontract shall be granted a permanent contract.
The division shall not employ more teachers under Limited Teacher-Generalcontract than there are teachers on leaves of absence.
A teacher who has been employed by the division under a Limited Teacher-Generalcontract and who subsequently is employed under a Teacher-Generalcontract pursuant to 1. above, shall be deemed to have been employed under a Teacher-Generalcontract since the commencement of their duties under a Limited Teacher-Generalcontract and shall be entitled retroactively to all benefits arising therefrom.
