THIS AUXILIARY AGREEMENT made as of the 25th day of April, 2021
BETWEEN:
ROLLING RIVER SCHOOL DIVISION
(hereinafter referred to as the “Division”)
- and -
ROLLING RIVER TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION OF
THE MANITOBA TEACHERS’ SOCIETY,
(hereinafter referred to as the “Association”)
WHEREAS pursuant to a certain collective agreement dated April 25, 2021, the Division has agreed to participate in a number of insurance programs, including:
The Division has agreed to participate in these plans subject to the terms of administration and cost sharing, as determined by the conditions of entry stipulated by each individual plan.
WHEREAS the Division recognizes that not all teachers will be eligible for coverage under these plans by virtue of their administration and underwriting rules, the Division and the Association have agreed that certain Teachers will be paid according to the annual rate of pay for the following school years;

2021-2022 - Effective First Day of the Fall Term 2021 COLA applied to First Day of the Fall Term 2020 rates |
*Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) to be determined as follows: COLA is to be determined based on the 12 month (January to December 2021) average annual Statistics Canada consumer price index change (Manitoba CPI - All Items). For clarity, this measure is calculated by comparing the average of the 12 monthly index value changes in the two comparator years. In January 2022, the increase will be applied retroactively to September 1, 2021. |
The parties have acknowledged that, without limiting the foregoing, the following classes of Teachers shall be paid according to this pay scale:
This Auxiliary Agreement is attached to and forms part of the Collective Agreement between the Parties dated April 25, 2021.
