Re: Article 6.03 - RELEASE TIME FOR MANITOBA TEACHERS' SOCIETY BUSINESS
Whereas the Interest Arbitration Award of April 14, 2020 has amended Article 9.00 - Personal Professional Development Fund to obligate the Association to assume the administration of the day to day operations of the Personal Professional Development Fund effective June 30, 2020:
The Parties to this Memorandum agree that the release time restrictions under Article 6.03 D shall be waived to entitle the Association to up to two and a half full time release positions (to a maximum of three persons) as determined by the Association to attend to Association business for the 2020-2021 school year. There shall be no loss of benefits and the Association shall reimburse the Division for each release time teacher's salary, allowance where applicable, benefits and other costs related to each release time teachers' secondment.
