Every teacher, except in the case of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, shall be entitled to an uninterrrupted meal period between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each school day. This meal period shall equal 55 minutes or the time of the noon hour break of the school in which the teacher teaches, if it is greater or less than 55 minutes.
A designated professional staff member will be available on school premises to deal with discipline, parental inquiries and other issues under the jurisdiction of the teachers.
