Following placement on the Salary Schedule in accordance with Articles 3.04, 7(a) and 11, the dates for increments will be as follows:
- Full-time teachers entering the service of the Fort la Bosse School Division in the fall term of any year shall receive an adjustment to the next higher rate in their Class on the Salary Schedule at the beginning of the fall term next following.
- Full-time teachers entering the service of the Fort la Bosse School Division in the spring term of any year shall receive an adjustment to the next higher rate in their Class on the Salary Schedule at the beginning of the spring term next following.
- Part-time teachers shall receive an adjustment to the next higher rate in their Class based on the fraction of the time employed at the beginning of the fall or spring term following the accumulation of service with the Fort la Bosse School Division equals the equivalent of one full-time year of service as verified by the Administration and Teachers' Certification Branch.
A teacher shall proceed from his/her initial salary by increments until the maximum salary is reached in that class. Each increment will take effect on either the first day of the Fall Term, January 1st, or April 1st, whichever date first follows the completion by the teacher of each additional year of experience (and for part-time teachers the completion of the equivalent of one full-time year of experience) as recognized by the Administration and Teachers’ Certification Branch of Manitoba Education. It is agreed that no teacher shall receive more than one increment in any single school year.
