Allowances for improved qualifications for approved courses shall be paid according to the following:
a) A teacher shall receive the following amounts for each (6) six credit hour course
Fall Term 2014 $724.84
Fall Term 2015 $739.34
Fall Term 2016 $754.13
September 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 $765.44
January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018 $776.92
and the following amounts for each three (3) credit hour course successfully completed.
Fall Term 2014 $360.39
Fall Term 2015 $367.59
Fall Term 2016 $374.95
September 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 $380.57
January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018 $386.28
b) Course allowances shall not be paid for any course provided and/or subsidized by the Division.
c) If a qualified teacher has completed a course which puts him/her into a higher class, he/she will receive the salary of the higher class from the beginning of
the teaching month following successful completion of the course.
d) To receive consideration for payment of course allowances, a teacher must submit application(s) for course allowances to the Area Superintendent within forty-five
(45) days of commencement of the course(s).
