LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
between
SANDY BAY FIRST NATION (the Employer)
and
THE SANDY BAY TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION (SBTA)
OF THE MANITOBA TEACHERS’ SOCIETY
Whereas the SBTA has been without a current collective agreement since August 31, 2011; the parties hereby agree that for the period of September first, 2011 to August 31, 2014 the terms and conditions of the September first, 2008 to August 31, 2011 collective agreement were in effect.
For greater clarity the parties agree the working conditions were as provided in the September first, 2008 to August 31, 2011 collective agreement. The Salary Schedules were as set out in ARTICLE FIVE - EXPERIENCE AND COMPENSATION; that is the Public Service Alliance of Canada Teachers’ Salary Grid (Elementary and Secondary Teaching Sub-Group [ED-EST] Annual Rates of Pay, in dollars, Manitoba 10 month pay plan), plus three percent (3%), plus three percent (3%), plus three percent (3%) (compounded) for each of the 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2013-2014 contract years.
Signed and agreed upon by the Sandy Bay First Nation Chief and Council and the Sandy Bay Teachers’ Association of The Manitoba Teachers’ Society on the 7th day of September, 2016.
